The 2-1 victory against Feyenoord in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 ensured Inter’s qualification to the next round. In the quarter-finals, the Nerazzurri will face a significantly tougher double challenge, as they will have to play against Bayern Munich.
For the first leg match, coach Simone Inzaghi is already certain he will have to deal with one absence. Indeed, Kristjan Asllani received a yellow card in the second half of the match at San Siro against Feyenoord. The Albanian was already on a yellow card warning, and having come onto the field only a few minutes earlier, he was booked for holding an opponent after carelessly losing possession in midfield. He will thus miss the clash scheduled at Allianz Arena, which will be played on the 8th or 9th of April.
