Defeat for Inter as they fall in Turin to Juventus on the 25th day of Serie A. Inter coach Simone Inzaghi spoke at a press conference to comment on the loss. Here are the coach’s statements collected by Passione Inter directly from the press room at Allianz Stadium.
What changed in the second half? We had a good first half of bravery and technique but without being able to capitalize. In the second half, we didn’t approach it like the first and Conceicao’s goal shifted the balance. This is a different defeat from Florence, we have lost the last two away games and if we want to win we have to work without thinking we are the strongest.
Head-on clashes? We have to change, it needs to be analyzed because in previous years we were better and now we are lacking. What we are doing is not enough. In the nine years that I have been coming to the Stadium, however, I had never created so many opportunities, they need to be capitalized on.
Does the last half hour often penalize you? Tonight the team was physically well, we played an orderly game but we needed to be more determined in what we created. Today we pay a lot.
