Today is a very important day for Inter: this evening the first official trophy of the season is at stake. It is the Italian Super Cup with the final to be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia against city rivals Milan.
Tonight’s match will be a derby of great significance because, in addition to the rivalry and supremacy that is always at stake in these types of challenges, neither of the two teams will want to see their opponents lift the cup at the end of the match.
For the black and blue coach Simone Inzaghi, tonight will be his first chance to make even more history for Inter. The coach from Piacenza, in case of victory in the Super Cup, would lift his seventh trophy in the Inter chapter tonight.
At that point, Inzaghi would join a black and blue legend like Helenio Herrera in the ranking of the most successful coaches in the history of Inter, as highlighted by Tuttosport in its edition today.. So it will be an even more special and heartfelt derby for the coach seeking redemption against Milan after losing the September league derby.
