The match against Como saw another victory for Inter thanks to goals in the second half by Carlos Augusto and Thuram, even though it was not the most brilliant performance of the Nerazzurri in recent times. Simone Inzaghi can be satisfied with what he saw on the field.
A player who has divided the opinions of newspapers is Hakan Calhanoglu who has received mixed ratings and comments. Some praise him for the assist from the corner with a perfectly placed pass for Carlos Augusto to head in, while others underline his lesser contributions. Here are his ratings.
LA GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT 6 – It was a complicated evening. Because Inter often chooses to give up playing with the ball and opts for a long throw, and he often gets missed out.
CORRIERE DELLO SPORT 7 – It’s almost scary how a player with his technical ability, capable of magically kicking the corner for the lead, attacks every ball like the most classic of midfielders. Top in the world.
TUTTOSPORT 6.5 – Even before Christmas, he’s set up a goal from a corner.
