After saluting football as a protagonist in his last Euro with the jersey of the German National Team, yesterday Toni Kroos was awarded by Tuttosport as the 2024 Golden Player Man. The former midfielder of Real Madrid, during the interview given to the Turin newspaper, admitted that he has received inquiries from the Italian league during his career.
Despite never having thought about leaving the blancos due to a strong bond with the club, Toni Kroos admitted that today he would happily play in Simone Inzaghi‘s Inter due to some characteristics expressed by the nerazzurra team that impressed him.
These are his words: During my years in Spain I know there was interest from some Serie A teams, but I never thought about leaving the Blancos. I have always liked Italian football: it’s technical, intense, and very tactical. But Real is Real… Which team would I have liked to play for? Not knowing the environments well, I would find it difficult to choose one. Maybe, at this moment I would not have seen myself badly in Inter. They play with confidence, calm, and quality, trying to impose their game against anyone. They are really strong.
