The Madonnina derby between the women’s teams of Milan and Inter ends in a 1-1 draw. This special match from the 12th round of the Serie A was exceptionally played at San Siro to highlight this highly anticipated event from both teams.

The goals were scored by Elisa Bartoli for the Nerazzurri in the first half and then in the second half by Nadia Nadim for the Rossoneri. All in all, a fair draw but leaves a bitter taste for Inter considering their better position in the standings, the bigger chances created and especially the goal scored just before the break that had boosted the morale and motivation of the Piovani girls for the second half.
