While waiting for the drawing of the eight groups for the new Club World Cup 2025, scheduled for Thursday, December 5, at 19:00, today FIFA has officially announced the division of the 32 participating clubs into four pots.

Confirming this morning’s predictions, Inter has been placed in the second pot. Here is the official division of the 32 teams:

POT 1: Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Flamengo, Palmeiras, River Plate, Fluminense.

POT 2: Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Inter, Porto, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Juventus, Salzburg.

POT 3: Al-Hilal, Ulsan HD, Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca, Monterrey, Leon, Boca Juniors, Botafogo.

POT 4: Urawa Red Diamonds, Al-Ain, ES Tunis, Mamelodi Sundowns, Pachuca, Seattle Sounders, Auckland City, Inter Miami.

From FIFA and Gianni Infantino, however, a clarification was later received regarding the draw for pot 2. Here is the explanation: The UEFA teams 5-8 in the ranking will be drawn into groups with the CONMEBOL teams 1-4, while the UEFA teams 9-12 will be drawn into groups with the UEFA teams 1-4.

As confirmed by Football & Finance, this means that Inter is already certain to avoid the super big European teams that belong to the first pot. These are the possible rivals in the first group that the black and blue club could find in the drawing of Miami on December 5:

– Flamengo,
– Palmeiras,
– River Plate,
