The day after the championship match between Fiorentina and Inter, which was suspended after only 17 minutes, the Nerazzurri players returned to Milan. For coach Simone Inzaghi and his staff, they had to plan the week as they were back on the field on Friday at San Siro to challenge Parma.
According to colleagues from Sky Sport, today at Appiano Gentile, only the two injured players, Francesco Acerbi and Carlos Augusto, had their personalized training. They are currently out due to muscle problems and are trying to return to the group as soon as possible.
For the entire rest of the team, however, Inzaghi granted a day off because everyone was still shaken by what happened to Bove. So it was decided not to carry out a usual training session at the Nerazzurri sports center. This strong choice by the coach could be very useful for the good of the team after yesterday afternoon’s scary incident at Franchi.
Inter’s players and Inzaghi will return to work tomorrow at Appiano Gentile to start preparing for the home match to be played on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at San Siro against Fabio Pecchia’s Parma, a game in which the Nerazzurri coach hopes to recover some injured players.
