Last Tuesday evening, on the occasion of Inter’s European success against Leipzig, a highly sought-after agent was present at San Siro. Indeed, Nick Mavromaras was the guest of the Nerazzurri, as he watched their fourth consecutive victory in this Champions League under Simone Inzaghi.
The well-known agent, as is well known, is currently full of commitments and phone calls due to the expiring contract at the end of this season of his prized asset, Jonathan David. The agent, who last night then went to Bologna to closely follow the Canadian striker in Lille’s victory, had a first important contact with Nerazzurri in recent months.
During his stay in Milan, as Tuttosport pointed out this morning, he also stayed at the Melià, often used by the Inter club as a reference hotel. The affair with David remains for Inter the real dream of next summer, when the center forward’s contract will expire with the French club.
At the moment, the negotiation remains uphill, not only because of competition, but also costs. Against a request of six million euros net for a five-year contract and high commissions for the free deal, a total expenditure of 80 million euros is expected.
