The new Club World Cup promoted by FIFA will bring a shocking change for various clubs. After the Winter World Cup in Qatar, which split the season in two, the unprecedented summer competition will extend the schedule until late July. A paradigm shift that brings with it another revolutionary choice regarding the transfer market: an additional window.
The official confirmation is still missing, but there are not many doubts. The clubs participating in the Club World Cup will enjoy a transfer session, from June 1st to 10th. A new opportunity that will also involve Inter and could have significant effects on the clubs strategy, starting from the January session.
In fact, the winter market can take on a whole new meaning. This is because the new window introduced by FIFA can be a way to balance the books by June 30, allowing the club to anticipate some possible important movements already in January.
In particular, for Inter, there would be the matter of the lists of players eligible for various competitions. Even today, Inter finds itself in a position where two players are not eligible for the Champions League: Tomas Palacios and Joaquin Correa.
