After the clear victory of Como against Inter, the spotlight turns to San Siro ahead of the big match. The tactical issues that Chivu needs to resolve are mainly two. According to Sky Sport, Martinez will be confirmed between the posts, with the three-man defensive line made up of Bisseck, Akanji, and Bastoni.
On the flanks, Spence will play on the right side and Dimarco on the left: both come from the experience in Rotterdam and want to build on their performance. Constant pressure on the wings could prove decisive against a team that presses high and may leave some space on the flanks.
In midfield, the doubt concerns the third spot alongside Barella and Calhanoglu: Zielinski and Sucic are in contention. In attack, however, Esposito seems to have the edge over Bonny to partner with Thuram.
