Speaking to Sky Sport, former striker Di Canio drew a clear comparison between Inter and Napoli after their respective Champions League matches, highlighting deep differences between the two environments.
“Inter’s situation is different from Napoli’s. The Napoli group is finished, exhausted, even psycho-physically. Inter is something totally different: an environment that has built up antibodies.”
On the internal atmosphere at Inter, Di Canio was direct: “Is something wrong? They get together and say everything, everyone runs in the same direction because the environment is healthy. I don’t think that’s the case at Napoli.”
