An unplayable team in Serie A, with only one gap to fix. Giuseppe Pastore, a journalist who spoke in the DAZN studios, commented on Inter‘s victory against Bologna with a clear judgment on the value of the Nerazzurri squad.
«Inter is extremely strong, they have twenty starters: every league match proves it. They are already at 21 goals, 3 per game, yet there isn’t a single player carrying the team in terms of scoring. Inter is conceding goals at a significant rate, it’s the only stain on the tuxedo: otherwise, they are unplayable, at least in Serie A».
Pastore then focused on Carlos Augusto, who scored the go-ahead goal: «After 40 seconds he is found in the six-yard box: the alertness of this player shows a willingness, a work ethic not typical of someone just passing through. Every year he has always added something: now, I’m not saying that Dimarco should be benched, but there are some doubts».
He concluded with a comment on Thuram: «For years we’ve wondered if he would ever become a striker of that level, that goal is like Lewandowski, like those kinds of players: an incredible goal that should make us wonder how much untapped potential Thuram still has».
