Fiftieth appearance in the Nerazzurri shirt for Pavard, achieved without even knowing it. At the final whistle of Inter–Parma, the defender stopped at the Inter TV microphones and commented on the evening with satisfaction.
“I didn’t know it was my 50th appearance,” said Pavard. “It is a great pride to wear this shirt. We have to keep going like this, we have a big match on Tuesday and as a defender I’m happy to have kept a clean sheet.”
His focus is already on the next challenge. When asked about the busy schedule, Pavard responded pragmatically: “The important thing is to start well against Bruges and there will be many matches to play this month.”
