A positive performance, but one that ended with an incident that caused some concern. According to DAZN, Calhanoglu experienced a physical problem after being substituted in the second half of Inter–Parma.

Sideline reporter Davide Bernardi explained that the Nerazzurri midfielder, in the last challenge before being substituted, received a blow to his left knee that forced him to apply ice to the joint at the end of the match.

It is still unclear whether this is purely a precautionary measure or something more serious. The fact remains significant: Calhanoglu had returned today after an injury, even scoring from the penalty spot, and Inter will be playing again on Tuesday in another match, at San Siro against Bruges in the Champions League.
