Pinones Arce warns Fiorentina: Inter is a very strong team

The coach of Fiorentina Women, Pinones Arce, spoke on the eve of tomorrow’s away match against Inter Women, the debut match of the 2026-2027 women’s Serie A. The purple coach gave his statements to the official channels of the Viola club, focusing on the season’s objectives and the strength of the Nerazzurre.

“This season I expect more maturity and consistency in our play. We need to maintain a more constant level throughout the entire championship: whoever our opponent is, it will be important to play our game,” explained Pinones Arce. The reference to last season is clear: “Last year the feeling was always the same, that we lost many of the matches ourselves: like missing out on qualification for the Champions League: everything that happened was due to our own mistakes, and maybe that’s exactly where we need to grow a lot.”

The Viola coach then analyzed tomorrow afternoon’s opponents: “I have little to say about tomorrow’s match. Inter is a team that has shown all its qualities, is very strong, and intends to achieve great things. They have hired a coach with a very clear tactical identity, who did very well last year with Napoli: and you can already see something of his work in the Nerazzurre’s first outings.”

Finally, he closed with his philosophy of play: “As I always say, even if we certainly prepare a little differently, it doesn’t change who we face, it will be important for us to focus on what we can control during the match. This is because I believe I have a great team at my disposal.”
