Tomorrow at 1 PM, Inter Women will make their debut in the 2026-2027 women’s Serie A, facing Fiorentina at the Arena Civica. The team led by Sassarini comes to the match after a positive debut in the Women’s Champions League against Hacken.
Chiara Robustellini, interviewed by Inter TV, expressed the group’s desire to start the tournament in the best way: “Finally, the league is starting for us too. We are pumped up, after the positive result against Hacken we want to build on the good things we showed. We want to grow day by day, improving every detail.”
The Nerazzurri defender highlighted the ongoing changes: “Yes, many things have changed. We are happy because we like the playing identity we are showing. We are only at the beginning and there is a lot to improve, we work day by day with a lot of sacrifice to keep raising the bar.”
On the courage required by the coach, Robustellini added: “It is definitely the word that describes us best, the coach wants us to always have courage even when the opponent seems a bit stronger. But if you put that something extra on the field and the courage that is needed, Inter can definitely compete in important matches in my opinion.”
About Serie A the player said: “It is definitely important, we will have to give 100% as usual. It’s a longer journey than the Champions League, we want to start on the right foot to get as many points as possible and compete for the league.” Finally, on managing the double commitment: “Every match counts, it’s important to manage workloads and manage the players to make them ready for every game. In these moments of fatigue, the strength of the group is fundamental. Our group is united and I am sure we will give 100% to achieve our goals.”
