Very harsh words from Adriano Panatta against the Juventus fans who turned their backs during the minute of silence for Sandro Mazzola. The former tennis champion, a guest in the Domenica Sportiva studios, condemned without appeal what happened at the Allianz Stadium before the match against Atalanta.

“It’s such an ugly, shameful thing… This group of fans who did this made me ashamed to be Italian,” declared Panatta. “It’s inconceivable, it goes beyond any rudeness, bad taste, lack of culture.”

The former tennis player then called for exemplary measures. “In my opinion, the Daspo should be activated: are the insults that so many fans have directed at some of our black brothers worse, or is this worse? The people responsible can be identified and should be given a lifetime Daspo,” he concluded.
