According to the journalist, the goalkeeper had been secured by the Nerazzurri club. However, the ownership gave different instructions to the management. “Initially, Inter had secured Guglielmo Vicario, then the ownership gave a different input because Josep Martinez had cost 12 million, it was necessary to trust an investment already made and for this reason a reliable backup like Ivan Provedel was brought in,” said Di Marzio.
