Cristian Chivu confirmed his trust in Josep Martinez after the match against Udinese. The Inter coach defended the goalkeeper with a clear statement: “Mistakes are part of the game, please write this headline: ‘Martinez will never be a problem.’”
According to Tuttosport, the coach’s stance was necessary, considering that it was he himself who approved the decision to entrust the starting role to Martinez as Sommer’s replacement. In the meantime, the club had received Dibu Martinez’s agent at its headquarters.

A decision that now needs to be supported with conviction.
