Luca Gotti has expressed more than a few doubts about Josep Martinez, the goalkeeper for Inter who once again this evening did not fully convince. The former Udinese coach, speaking from the Sky Sport studios, emphasized the level required by a top club like the Nerazzurri.
“I have more than a few doubts. Martinez is a good goalkeeper, but here we are talking about absolute excellence: Inter is a great club,” said Gotti.
The coach then broadened the discussion to the European ambitions of Italian teams: “As Italian fans, we would like our teams to have levels of excellence in Europe as well, and so probably Martinez is not yet ready for that level.”
