Spence, Stones and Jones: playing time for the three new signings

Inter will have to be patient before fielding together the three new faces who arrived from England. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the playing times of Spence, Stones, and Jones will be staggered based on their respective physical conditions.

The former Tottenham player will not be available tomorrow and is unlikely to be risked against Cagliari, after just a week of training with the group. His debut is expected on the third matchday of the league, in the game against Napoli.

As for the central defender, his condition is improving but is not yet sufficient for a starting spot: tomorrow he will start from the bench. The situation is different for Jones, who, unlike Spence, arrived at Appiano Gentile having already completed his summer preparation at Liverpool: he could get some playing time as early as the match against Cagliari.

Looking ahead to tomorrow’s match, Chivu has only one uncertainty to resolve in attack. Thuram will sit on the bench, Pio Esposito has a guaranteed spot, while Lautaro is pushing to take Bonny‘s place from the first minute, on his birthday.
