Oumar Solet could stay at Udinese. The central defender, who in the past was strongly linked to Inter, has dropped off the Nerazzurri’s radar after rumors about alleged cartilage problems in his knees, which were then categorically denied by the Friulian club.

According to Messaggero Veneto, the 2000-born player could surprisingly remain with the Bianconeri and even renew his contract, which currently expires in 2027. The decision is said to have been influenced by coach Kosta Runjaic, who reportedly expressed the desire not to completely overhaul the defense.

The coach does not want to revolutionize the defensive department, considering the likely transfer of Kristensen to Atalanta. The stay of Solet would guarantee continuity to a sector that is already undergoing significant changes.
