Inter continues to work on the transfer market after securing John Stones on a free transfer. The English defender arrives with a two-year contract worth 4 million euros per season, following his ten-year spell with Manchester City.
Cuti Romero is now in the Nerazzurri’s sights. According to Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia, Inter and Tottenham have reached a basic agreement for a fee close to 40 million euros. However, the deal is not yet closed: an agreement between the Nerazzurri club and the player’s entourage on the contract is still missing.
“Talks are ongoing with the agent for an agreement on the salary, which has not yet been reached,” reports Longari. In the background remains Barcelona, present in Romero‘s thoughts, but the Catalan club must first complete an outgoing transfer.
