Inter is working on Cristian Romero. The market expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his YouTube channel that the Nerazzurri are negotiating for the Tottenham defender, with direct contacts both with the English club and with the player’s entourage.

Romero‘s agents have been in Milan since Tuesday and have had two meetings with Inter’s management. The parties are discussing contractual details, particularly the Argentine defender’s salary. This was also confirmed by Piero Ausilio, who clarified the matter.

According to Romano, negotiations are ongoing with Tottenham to define all aspects of the deal. Inter is working hard on this front, although the path to closing the deal remains tied to the normal dynamics of the market.

On the Ivan Perisic front, however, Ausilio himself has definitively closed the door. Inter is not working on the Croatian’s return. There was an attempt in January, but PSV did not release the player. Now the Nerazzurri have other priorities and Perisic is not part of their plans.
