Getting to Romero for Inter will not be easy, given the very high costs of the operation. But, as reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter has its own elements in the deal with Tottenham. One above all, is the English club itself: it was the Spurs, in fact, who made the first move with the Nerazzurri.
The Spurs offered the Argentine defender to some Premier League teams and subsequently to Inter, while the two clubs were in talks for Djed Spence. The player has also caught the attention of Barcelona, but the Catalan track seems to have cooled down.
The Blaugrana club must sell before buying and Romero would not be willing to wait for the La Liga champions to resolve their outgoing issues. This situation could favor Inter, despite the financial difficulties related to the investment required by Tottenham.
