Inter continues to work on building the squad for next season, but in addition to the mission of strengthening the team with new signings, there is also the goal of generating resources through some sales. From Davide Frattesi to Luis Henrique, passing through Kristjan Asllani and Benjamin Pavard, returning from loan, the possible departures could guarantee the Nerazzurri an important treasure to reinvest. The update on surplus players from La Gazzetta dello Sport:

“Davide Frattesi is waiting and always hoping for a call from Roma to return home, but every scenario is open. And Nottingham Forest, which last summer came close to closing the deal, continues to monitor him. For its part, Inter does not intend to sell him for less than 20-25 million despite the negative last season, also to ensure a substantial capital gain (considering his book value is about 13 million),” writes the pink newspaper.

“The other two names are Pavard and Asllani, with similar destinies and paths: a failed loan (two in the Albanian’s case) and a return to base. But neither the first nor the second will have space in Inter’s future. A detail not to be underestimated is the very heavy contract that binds the Frenchman to the Nerazzurri colors: 5 million net per season, which is why the management is already moving to find a solution that could take the former Bayern player to Saudi Arabia. In any case, his departure should bring around 10-12 million into the Nerazzurri’s coffers, also considering that Marseille has chosen not to exercise the buyout option set at 15. Finally, there is Asllani, more or less decent in the months he was seen in Turin but negative in the second part of the season spent in Turkey, at Besiktas. Something is moving in Italy as well, perhaps with the same formula as in the recent past (loan with option), but for sure the Albanian is considered surplus in Milan.

And then there is Luis Henrique: the Brazilian has a market especially abroad (Bournemouth could come back for him after almost signing him in January) and so the amount hypothetically collected by Inter from just the surplus players would shoot above 50 million euros. Not bad, considering that Atalanta’s demands for Palestra are around that figure…”
