Inter continues to prepare for the important Saturday night clash against Juventus. Today at Appiano Gentile there was encouraging news regarding Dumfries: the Dutch winger took part in some of the training with his teammates after three months of absence.

Yesterday Chivu had already welcomed back Calhanoglu and Barella to the group, both recovered from the injuries that had kept them out in recent weeks. The two midfielders will be regularly available for the match against the Bianconeri, with the coach set to assess how to manage them tactically during the game.

As for the Dutchman, according to Sky Sport, his full return is scheduled for the last week of February. Dumfries should therefore be available again between the return leg of the Champions League play-offs and the league match against Genoa.

His absence has lasted for a considerable period and his return will represent an important option on the right flank for the second part of the season. His recovery is proceeding according to the schedule set by the Nerazzurri medical staff.
