There has been renewed talk of the transfer market in recent days at Inter due to some possible moves to be made in the January window. The Nerazzurri club could open the door to some new additions to Cristian Chivu‘s squad in exchange for just as many departures.

Among the hottest names likely to leave are clearly the young Tomas Palacios and the dissatisfied Davide Frattesi. Careful evaluations will also be made regarding Luis Henrique, who so far has never shone in the opportunities he has been given by Chivu.

Among the profiles being considered for incoming transfers, as confirmed this morning by Corriere dello Sport, the name of Giovane from Verona continues to gain ground. The striker, born in 2003, impressed the Nerazzurri during their last encounter at the Bentegodi and even received compliments from Chivu at the end of the match narrowly won by the Nerazzurri.

According to the newspaper, after Verona-Inter there was a first meeting between the new agent Giuseppe Riso and the player to take stock of the market and plan the next moves. The well-known agent also manages the interests of Carlos Augusto, who, due to their frequent interactions, has become friends with his compatriot Giovane.

A relationship that, combined with Chivu‘s esteem for the Verona striker, could facilitate negotiations between the clubs. As for the cost of Giovane‘s transfer, it is at least 15-18 million euros, although with performances of this caliber the price could further increase between now and the next transfer window.
