UEFA has appointed a Swedish referee for Union SG-Inter: it is Glenn Nyberg. He will be assisted by Mahbod Beigi and Andreas Söderkvist, while the fourth official will be Adam Ladebäck and they are all his compatriots. In the VAR room, instead, there will be the Spaniards Guillermo Cuadra Fernandez and his assistant Javier Iglesias Villanueva.
This referee has already officiated an Inter match in his career, which was the one that ended in a 0-0 draw on the field of Manchester City in the group stage of last season’s Champions League. Now the Swedish referee will therefore have the opportunity to officiate a second match for the nerazzurri.
