The Nerazzurri’s transfer market has taken other directions and Lookman’s future, just over 24 hours before the transfer window closes, is still to be decided. According to journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic, Bayern Munich is trying in extremis in these hours.
The Bavarians would be ready with a loan offer with an option to buy. Atalanta’s response, reported by Fabrizio Romano, would be a firm no to this option: Lookman can only say goodbye with a permanent transfer or with a loan with a guaranteed obligation to buy.
