The day after tomorrow – Monday, September 1st – the summer transfer market session will end and it could have been the last one in which Sporting Director Piero Ausilio conducted negotiations for Inter after a relationship that has lasted for many years. As has been known for several days now, Al-Hilal in fact wants to bring him to Saudi Arabia.
If Ausilio were to accept the Arab offer, he would be reunited with Simone Inzaghi on the club’s bench, but it is a decision he has yet to make. As revealed by Fabrizio Romano, together with colleague Matteo Moretto, on YouTube there is a formal offer from Al-Hilal pushing, and a response is expected in September. Here are his words:
“Al-Hilal is pushing hard for Ausilio, there is a concrete offer. In the month of September we will understand whether it will be a yes or a no, the Arab club is waiting for a signal from Inter’s Sporting Director. Ausilio is also bound by a very long-standing relationship with Inter and so this will be an important decision for him to make.”
