On the eve of the Inter-Milan derby, Simone Inzaghi spoke to journalists in a press conference. Among the various questions, there was also one about the latest arrival in the Nerazzurri house: Tomas Palacios.

The Nerazzurri coach talked about his qualities, also revealing important hints about what his role in Nerazzurri could be, once the adaptation process is complete.

Here are his words:

“Palacios is working well. He doesn’t speak Italian or English, only Spanish and Lautaro and Correa are helping him. He is a guy with great prospects and he is trying to learn. He has very great technique and reads the game well. He is trying to fit in the best way and seeing him work is a pleasure because he wants to work. At this moment, having just arrived, we are placing him together with Bastoni to hold arms, but I can’t tell you if he can play in the center, but for me, the way he attacks and his reads, he could also play in the center”.
