The match at the Allianz Stadium provided few emotions, and several Bianconeri fans claimed to have seen Massimiliano Allegri’s team back in action.

Juventus coach Thiago Motta, however, has decided to partly follow the communication strategy of his predecessor, who constantly distanced himself last year from those who talked about the scudetto. Pressed during Sky Calcio Club about his team’s seasonal objective, the former Bologna player responded:

Yes, I know what the objective is: to play against Empoli to the maximum, then we will have Psv Eindhoven in the Champions League and then we will have to think game by game. It’s a long season, a beautiful journey. When we reach the important months, we will talk about objectives.”
