Today – Wednesday, May 14 – there have been some updates on the transfer market front regarding Inter. At the moment, the main objective for the Nerazzurri is to find some important reinforcements for their attack ahead of next season, in order to have more options in this department.
To provide an update on the names on the target list of Marotta and Ausilio is the Corriere dello Sport, which includes Joshua Zirkzee among the main targets. The Roman daily claims that the profile of the Dutch striker is one of the favorites for Inter’s management and that he may be leaving Manchester United.
Zirkzee would be an excellent alternative for Inzaghi to his starting strike partnership of Thuram and Lautaro. For Inter, there is the idea of trying to get him on a loan with an option to buy: he is a young player and his wages fit within Oaktree’s parameters. A year ago, United paid 40 million euros for him, but now his value has dropped and he could cost less.
