The transfer market axis between Inter and Bologna could soon become heated. The two teams, which will face each other at the Dall’Ara on Sunday afternoon at 6:00 pm, are involved in several negotiations that may intensify next summer.
The name that could trigger a domino effect is Francesco Pio Esposito, the Inter striker currently on loan at Spezia. The class-of-2005 player has already received various offers from Serie A, including those from Torino and Bologna, without forgetting the Ligurians themselves, who, in case of promotion, will do everything possible to renew the loan for a third consecutive year.
As reported by Tuttosport, however, the Rossoblù could have a significant advantage over their competitors. Indeed, in the Bologna squad, there are a couple of players whom Inter might be interested in acquiring through an exchange deal. Excluding Santiago Castro, a striker for whom a separate deal might emerge, there are two players in particular: Dan Ndoye and Giovanni Fabbian.
The Italian midfielder Fabbian is still linked to Inter by a €12 million buy-back clause valid until next summer. The Swiss winger Ndoye, a player highly regarded by Piero Ausilio, has been targeted by the Nerazzurri since last summer’s European Championship held in Germany. Thus, one of these two players owned by Bologna could become part of a transfer deal involving Inter for Francesco Pio Esposito.
